Saturday was Micah's 1st Birthday!!!  We can't believe it, he has gotten so big so fast.  It seems almost unfair how fast time just slips by.  We had such a good time at his little party.  Family came, and so did friends to help us celebrate his special day.

Micah is such a pleasant baby.  He just went with the flow of things, smiling most of the way.  He was pretty intrigued with everything going on throughout the day, not quite sure about most of it but he seemed to have fun.  The cake was the fun thing to watch.  He was just so delicate with the frosting.

It took some special help from mommy and daddy, and his siblings to get him to finally dig his fingers into the cake.  He just kept taking off the frosting, and eating that.

Once he figured out that there was chocolate underneath the party was on, but only for a short moment.  For some reason, our kids have never completely demolished their first cake.  They get more frustrated the more messy they get, and then the fun is over.

This is Micah letting us know that he is soooooo ready for a bath.  Poor little man.  All sticky and gross.  Mommy just let him sit there for about 20 minutes after the crying started so that I could pick up a little.  He cried a bit, and then just kept watching me with a sad little face waiting patiently.  Like I said, a good baby.  I think it's because he is 5th.  He knows that he has to be patient.  Happy Birthday little man.  We love you soooooooo much.  Your so dang cute, and so pleasant.
