Happy Easter!!

So, it has been a while since I last posted.  Aaron always has the computer because of work and school so I never have a chance to get on the internet.  By the time I can, I am either too tired or too tired.
Today was a great day.  The kids woke up early to find their Easter baskets, and of course wanted to endulge in chocolate and jellybeans before eating breakfast.  We were a little lenient, but not by much.  I think the Easter Bunny will need to make his visit after church or something next year.  It was a little crazy trying to get kids ready for church while they were so excited.  We had an Easter egg hunt after church, where of course, A&W and Jake found the most eggs because they are bigger and faster.  They understood though when I split the eggs up evenly.  We took some delicious sugar cookies to Grandpa Lund and Uncle Orville, and said Hello to Grandma.  Then we took cookies to Uncle Shane and Aunt Dawn, and the cousins.  The kids were so excited to play with their cousins.  We weren't able to stay long though because I had to get home to prepare dinner.  Grandma Adrianne joined us for dinner and we had an enjoyable time.  It was a great Easter Sunday.  We ended the evening by reading scriptures and watching "The Lamb of God" with the kids.  It was a good way to calm them down for bed and for them to also understand why we celebrate Easter.
On another note, we have officially hit 30 weeks.  I believe that the next 8-10 weeks of this pregnancy will be especially long and hard.  I am trying to stay positive so that it won't be so bad, but that is hard to do when my body hurts, and I  don't have the energy to chase the others.  Just a little longer and this little baby will change our lives and family forever.  It will also start a new chapter in my own life.  I am so done having kids!  Mine are great, but alot of work as well.  I love them more than anything and would do anything for them.  I know that it is only through the help of a higher power that I make it through everyday.  Enough said, I am really tired.  I hope to post again soon, and next time with some new pics.  Happy Easter everyone!!

One Tiny Announcement

I forgot when I was updating the blog, but I remembered now.  Just wanted to let everyone know that we are having another boy!  It wasn't exactly what we were expecting to find out.  In fact it was pretty much the biggest shock we've had in a long time.  Who would figure that we would get 5 boys.  I guess we have our basketball team, and one little cheerleader.  Mary was okay with the idea although she still expresses a little disappointment.  The boys really wanted another sister, and were pretty let down.  They said that they wanted to have a sister so that Mary would leave them alone.  I've let them know that now that will never happen.  We have no clue what to name him, but time will tell.  Anyone need any girl clothes?

Crazy January!!

So this last month was a little crazy, hence the reason I didn't update the blog all month.  We celebrated Jakey's 6th birthday.  It was a lot of fun for everyone.  Especially Jake.  He got two birthdays.  One on his birthday and the other about 4 days before his birthday.  We had to accomodate Daddy.  He started a new semester in school.  20 Credit hours!  Can we all say "Crazy"?

Anyway, all of the family decided that we would try out Jumpin Jacks for Jakes family party.  It was actually a really great place and I felt so relaxed.  For once I didn't care that my kids were jumping around all over the place.  All over everything, and I didn't care.  I actually encouraged it.  I would have joined in, but  I wasn't allowed to because of my current status.

My brother and his friend were able to come up from Provo to spend Jakes birthday with us.  It was so nice of them.  He really goes out of his way to make it to all these family events.  A lot of miles on his car too.  We really appreciate it though.  It means  so much to everyone.

Oh, We also celebrated my birthday, my brothers birthday, and my dads birthday.  Like I said, one crazy month.  Aaron made me a homemade cheesecake for my birthday.  It is one of my favorites and he did an awesome job!  It tasted wonderful.  Look at my cute baby.

Bedtime for Sethy

This is Seth in his cute bathrobe right before bed last night.  Aaron and I thought that he looked so sophisticated with his little hand in his pocket.

He even moved closer to the camera so that we could better view of him.  What a ham!

This is what we found after prayers and we told Seth to go climb into bed.  He just told daddy that he wanted to read books.  He took everybook that was in his room and put them on his bed with the hopes that Daddy would sit down and read to him all night.  We ended up only reading 2 or 3 and then he put on his headlamp and read until he fell asleep.  We did move the books off his bed so that he could find his sheets and go to sleep.  He's just so cute!

Hamburgers at home!

So, this is how we do hamburgers at the Libby home.  This is how Aarons Dad did it with him, and now this is how we do it with our kids.  For some reason the kids think that it is the greatest way to make a hamburger patty ever.  First daddy rolls ground beef into a ball on wax paper,

then the kids get to sit on a plate to squish the hamburger.  As you can see Seth is pretty happy that he gets to do this with daddy.

I love this picture because Mary has her legs straight out as stiff as she can get them.  Even her little toes are spread out because she's trying to keep her legs out.  Aaron was just getting a kick out of it.

It was fun to make them, and boy, were those hamburgers tasty!!  Better than anything you can buy at fastfood.

Sunday at the Libby's

Don't they all look so sharp in their new Sunday outfits?

Hey Dear, Lets take the kids out to the freezing cold!

So it's the day after christmas and we decided that we wanted to take the kids to see the lights at Temple Square before they get shut off on New Years.  It was a toasty 13 degrees outside.  We put the kids in their snow suits to make sure they maintained the most warmth possible.  I was really surprised to see how some people were dressed.  Either I have turned into a complete sissy in the cold, or their minds don't register that if they aren't dressed warm then they'll freeze!  Whatever the case, I was glad and the kids were glad that they were bundled.  It ended up being alot of fun.  Good memories.
